Vintage Service

The team at Nova has extensive knowledge and an obsessive passion for all things vintage motorcycle. We ride vintage on the street, in the dirt, and race vintage at the track. What we do is not taught in any trade schools; rather it is gathered from an ethos of working from fundamentals combined with years of experience in a wide range of machines. We understand systems that are no longer made, and have the fundamentals to understand the systems we haven’t yet seen should we find them. Our tools have metric, standard, and Whitworth sets, and they all get regular workouts.

Vintage Service is considered any bike 1980 and older. Starting March 1st, 2024 our service rate is $140/hour.

We have factory tools for most major brands including Triumph, Honda, Yamaha, Kawasaki, Suzuki, Ducati, and Harley.

Starting March 1st, 2024, our General Service rate is $115/hour.

Service FAQ’s

Q: Do you work on Scooters?

A: We work on any Scooter made by a Japanese, American, or European Manufacturer. We don’t work on Kymco, Tao Tao, or other off-brands. We’ve tried, and the parts quality was so inconsistent that we couldn’t guarantee the work that we did on them.

Q: Do you work on Mopeds?

A: Yes! As long as it has pedals and a chain, we’re in.

Q: Do you work on Harleys?

A: All the time. We love Harley’s.

Q: Do you work on Desmo Ducatis?

A: Yes we do.

Q: Do you work on sportbikes?

A: Yup.

Q: Can I bring my own parts?

A: Yes you can. But please bring the right parts. It may cost you time and extra money if we have to re-purchase something you mis-ordered.

Q: Do you only work on classic and vintage machinery?

A: No, we offer work on almost all makes and models. Machines that are 1980 and older are considered Vintage and have a different hourly rate.

Q: Can I drop my bike off anytime?

A: No. We work on an appointment basis. Please call or message us to set up a day to bring your bike in. Bring yourself in anytime though!

Q: Is there always a waitlist for service?

A: No. Our wait times vary, depending on what is needed. Basic and quick services like oil changes, brake pads, and tires can be scheduled for an immediate appointment and a quick turnaround time. Bikes that need a wider range of help will take longer to get in, and longer to get back.

Q: Are you open in the winter?

A: Yes! And we strongly recommend bringing us your bike during the off-season, particularly if it has been off the road for a while or needs serious repairs. We get very busy when it’s nice out, and your plans to ride your bike again after ten years may not work out how you’d hoped if you wait until the first sunny day to call us.
